I started my career in the real estate industry, which led to me co-founding a recruitment agency in 1998 working closely with clients in the property sector.  As a CEO for many years I learned to overcome challenges, such as navigating economic cycles and making investment decisions, developing a business vision, managing staff and operations, building client relationships and managing compliance, all while juggling the many other competing demands required to run a successful business. 

After selling a majority share in Edge Recruitment in 2023 and ensuring a careful transition to the new owners, I took a 12-month sabbatical to travel and reset.  I now use my experience to work with Adelaide business owners, boards and decision-makers to establish clear goals, improve performance, achieve sustainable growth, and help position their businesses for long term success.

As an experienced board director I've worked with organisations of all sizes, across the private and not-for-profit sectors in South Australia, supporting them through a strong focus on commercially focused advice that enables businesses to better navigate complex governance and risk issues, develop workforce resources, manage assets, and achieve positive customer outcomes. 

While based in Adelaide, I grew up in a farming family and have a love of regional South Australia. I enjoy working with individuals and organisations in all types of industries and sectors, and am committed to developing the next generation of successful business owners.
